Aviva Studios, home to Factory International, is a landmark new cultural space in Manchester with a global outlook.
Designed with flexibility in mind, the building’s design is led by Ellen van Loon of the world-renowned practice Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA). The multi-use space can accommodate a wide range of set-ups, from intimate theatre shows and intricate exhibitions to large multimedia performances and warehouse-scale gigs suitable for major artists.
The development is led by Manchester City Council, supported by HM Government and Arts Council England. In 2023, Aviva was announced as the naming rights partner, with the building known as Aviva Studios.
