Albert's Worsley
Swinton Park, Manchester, United Kingdom
Albert's Worsley is a family-run venue with a rich history linked to Albert, the uncle of owner Jim Ramsbottom. Albert played a key role in transforming Dukes 92 in the early 1990s from a canalside stable block into a well-known Manchester food and drink destination.
The venue is named after Albert’s shed, where he used to store his tools until plans for Albert’s Shed restaurant were developed. Albert agreed to vacate the shed for the restaurant on the condition that it would bear the name of his beloved shed. Following the success of the original Shed, the concept expanded to locations in Didsbury, Worsley, and Standish in Wigan, with further developments planned.
